alerin barn

These summer wedding flowers featured a modern pink wedding bouquet with roses and an artufl aesthetic. We loved creating these wedding flowers in June. Emme and Matt were married in early June at the Alerin Barn in Saint Johnsbury, Vermont. When first meting clients, I always like to ask if there are any flowers that have special meaning to them in their lives. Emme told me that bachelor’s buttons and lupine used to grow in her yard as a child, so she had a special place in her heart for them. Emme’s overall floral designs were inspired by this first detail in our conversation together, as well as by her stunning Rue de Seine dress and the gorgeous patterns of her bridesmaids’ gowns. Delicate bud vases, hand-dyed ombre napkins, and the most infectious, visible love between these two completed the look. Coral charm and red charm peonies, lilac, bleeding hearts and fragrant garden roses as well as other hand foraged Vermont perennial wildflowers added so much cheer to this already beaming day.
