This was such a special event. Melissa and Jim were so incredibly sweet, upbeat and fun to work with, and a gorgeous couple to boot. A peach, green, and ivory color palette with accents of gold and navy sparkled against the barns and rolling hills of this rustic yet manicured upstate New York venue. Melissa and Jim wanted a romantic, nostalgic and casual atmosphere for their day. I used materials such as succulents, cafe au lait dahlias, patience garden roses, moss, and other local garden treasures. Homespun pennant flags hung from the rafters and hurricane candlelight made the night glow. Rental props came from Vintage Inspired Marketplace. All of the lovely details were captured by Christina Bernales, whose stunning work speaks for itself!
